Why I'm fundraising...
I am proud to be taking part in Australia’s mightiest ultra-marathon challenge – the Bravehearts 777 Marathon. Over the course of one incredible week, I will run 7 marathons, across 7 states, in 7 consecutive days to raise vital funds to support the prevention and treatment of child sexual abuse.
This EPIC CHARITY CHALLENGE is about more than just running and epic events – this particular challenge has a focus on protecting Aussie kids. Every dollar raised helps Bravehearts continue their important work in creating a safer world for children.
At Carter + Co, success has never been just about numbers or milestones, it’s about impact. When we launched our business, we knew we wanted to build something bigger than ourselves. That’s why we proudly established our very own Carter + Co Charity Named Fund through Hands Across Canberra, a charity initiative that supports over 350 local non-government and community organisations that change lives across our region every single day.
BUT... it never stopped there;
A BIG PART of this became the commencement of THE EPIC CHARITY CHALLENGE, which are ambitious fitness events that we complete to sweat it out for charity causes close to our hearts and to raise much needed funds that make HUGE impacts.
The Epic Charity Challenge is about more than endurance. It’s about community, leadership, and the belief that one act of courage can inspire many. We do this to:
+ Support hundreds of local causes through our charity efforts and raise awareness of the work these amazing people and causes do every day in our community.
+ Make a meaningful difference, even if it’s in just one person’s life
+ Lead by example, showing resilience, commitment, and heart
Because if we can push past our limits, so can others.
