FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What time should I arrive and when does each distance start?
Registration and race-day bib collection open at 6:00am.
- Marathon: 7:00am
- Half Marathon: 7:30am
- 14km and 7km: 8:00am
Participants should arrive at least 30 minutes before their start time.
What is the course cut-off time?
All participants must complete their event by 1:30pm. Anyone unable to finish by this time may be asked to withdraw from the course.
Can I walk the course?
Yes, walkers are welcome, provided they can complete their chosen distance before the 1:30pm course cut-off. You may want to recommend that walkers choose the 7km or 14km event.
Is there a minimum age?
- 7km: Participants must be at least 16 years old.
- 14km, 21.1km and 42.2km: Participants must be at least 18 years old.
Can I wear headphones?
Headphones are permitted; however, participants must remain aware of other course users, volunteers, cyclists and event instructions. I would recommend allowing only one earbud or using open-ear headphones.
Will there be pacers at the 777 Marathon?
No, we don’t have pacers at the 777 Marathon. You’re welcome to run or walk at your own pace, provided you complete your distance by the 1:30 pm course cut-off.
Will I receive a finisher medal?
Yes. All participants who complete their distance at an in-person 777 Marathon event will receive a finisher medal.
Can I get a refund on my registration?
- Refund requests received on or before 31 May 2026 may be approved at Bravehearts’ discretion and will receive a 50% refund.
- From 1 June 2026, no refunds will be issued.
Where do I collect my race bib and timing chip?
Participants can either opt to have their personalised race bib posted ahead of the event (for a fee of $10.00) or alternatively collect their race bib from the venue on event day from 6:00am.
Do I need to bring on-course hydration or nutrition?
We provide water at a minimum of two points along the 7km loop.
If you have specific hydration or nutrition needs, we recommend bringing what works best for you.
