I am fundraising for Bravehearts

Last year I ran in a 14km race for bravehearts. Bravehearts is an Australian child protection not for profit organisation solely dedicated to the prevention and treatment of child sexual abuse. The Australian child maltreatment study (ACMS) found that almost  1 in 4 Australians experienced one or more types of contact child sexual abuse. This breaks my heart. This year on the 4th of July  I’m running 21kms in the bravehearts charity run in Sydney. Bravehearts offers personal safety education programs for children in early years through to high school and for those working with children and young people and how they can create and maintain child safe environments. I have someone very close to me that is a survivor of child sexual abuse. They’re my inspiration and they’re my reason why I run. They are strong , resilient and a survivor. Last year my partner and I raised $600 , this year my goal is $800. Please help me reach my goal and donate. Anything and everything counts. Keen to smash my running goals this year.
