777 Marathon Sydney 2025

I am fundraising for Bravehearts

Hi, I'm Peta! I live on Gadigal land (Sydney) and work as an academic, community-development worker, and volunteer broadcaster on Sydney's Community Radio Station 2SER 107.3. I co-host a radio show with my best friend Gemma, called 'Blaksiders'. We're two First Nations lawyers (and Mums, sisters, aunts and daughters) talking about news and current affairs from a blak perspective. 

I am participating in Bravehearts 777 Marathon Sydney on Friday July 4 2025. I am raising money for Bravehearts, an advocacy solely dedicated to the holistic and coordinated prevention and treatment of child sexual abuse.

Thursday 16th Jan
This week I was google searching for services and organisations for survivors of child sexual assault and came across Bravehearts. It was a relief to see this organisation exists. Considering I've already set myself the goal of prioritising my health in 2025, this event is ticking all the boxes to make progress. I'll be running the 7km and trying to raise $500.00 while I'm at it. Let's see how many of my friends I can recruit to join me (*winking emoji!*)
