When you hear about child abuse whether it’s physical, emotional, mental or sexual those are the things you only see in the movies, until it happens to close to home. 

No one will ever know how painful it is unless it happens to you or to your family. The pain does not only affect the survivor but their whole family. It will take years of therapy to just ease the pain for a little bit but it will always affect the mental health of the victim and the family throughout their lives.  

I have researched a charity to partner with for our My Bestie and Me Book Project and without any hesitation it was Bravehearts Foundation that I knew would go to lengths to help and prevent any form of child abuse by educating, empowering and protecting our kids. 

What’s more appropriate than having a photoshoot of your child with a stuffed toy or blanket that makes them secure, I am so looking forward to seeing different kinds of toys that kids will bring to their shoot. 

For every $100 or more donation to Bravehearts, LDB Studios will gift you with:

• A portrait session with your child in our West Gosford studio with their “Bestie” this session will be around half an hour. We encourage to also have your family portraits as this is a perfect opportunity to have your family portraits for the first time or to simply update your portraits. If family session is opted total photoshoot time will be about an hour. 
• A spot in our “My Bestie and Me Book”, you will get a two page spread feature with your child’s photo on one page and your childs name and a short story about their best friend (story supplied by parents)
• An 8x10 Matted print ready to frame **Frame NOT included
• the matching digital file of the print chosen
• A viewing session to view your images and an opportunity to purchase more images
• Book included with The Mother Load package and Up, or book can be purchased separately
