Donate for my birthday
Friday 9th Aug As I turn the big 40 I wanted to do something to make a positive difference and Bravehearts does just that. This is a cause very close to my heart, being a victim of child sexual abuse for 12 years from the ago of 4 to 16 as I have publically shared (I have put a link for those who would like to hear more about that and the song I wrote that aligns with what I discuss) had devestating consequences as I went into my adult life. After much turmoil and hard work I'm now living a life I'm proud of and am not debilitated by the effects of that trauma. Bravehearts gives others that opportunity by 1 dealing with the aftermath of those abused and 2 prevention . As children we are shaped by our childhood experiences and what better way to impact the next generation by giving them the best possible start.
