To raise money for 'Bravehearts' I have entered a race called ‘Herdy’s Frontyard Ultra’. This is an event where runners take on a 6.71k loop, on the hour, every hour, for as many times as possible. Just as the name suggests, it will be held at Herdsman Lake.
My goal is to reach 26 loops, totalling 174.46k / 108.4 miles
Start: 4pm Friday 21st March
Finish: no earlier than 6pm Saturday 22 March
The last time this event took place, only 9 out of 360 participants made it this far. I will have 18 months experience running.26 hours is a tough challenge I've set but it'll be worth it. Friends, family and anyone who cares for the cause, please join me by making a donation, however small :)
