I'm fundraising for Bravehearts!
This will be my 2nd year running the Bravehearts 777 Marathon. This means I will run 7 Marathons in 7 States in 7 Consecutive Days to raise crucial funds for Bravehearts. Last 777 Marathon was such an amazing experience and everyone involved are such inspirational and impressive individuals coming together for Bravehearts!
I love running and staying active and it has always been an important part of my life. I know the amazing mental and physical benefits that being active brings so I hope by pushing myself past my limits I can inspire others to become more active too.
I feel so privileged to be able to raise funds and awareness for such an important charity. Bravehearts is dedicated to the prevention and treatment of child sexual abuse. This is such an important issue that is so prevalent around Australia yet not talked about enough. 1 in 4 Australians have experienced child sexual abuse. A statistic that needs to be reduced and stopped.
The Bravehearts mission and vision speaks for itself. The mission is to provide a coordinated and holistic approach to the prevention and treatment of child sexual abuse. The vision is a world where people, communities and systems all work together to protect children from sexual abuse.
