I'm fundraising for...Bravehearts

My name is Brian Jackson I’m 54 years old, married to my beautiful wife Paula and live in Perth Western Australia.

We weren’t blessed with a family of our own and it breaks our hearts when hear of children whose lives have been devastated by sexual assault.

 It is reassuring to know that there is an organisation such as Braveheart’s (Australia’s leading child protection organization) to provide advice and support to those affected by child sexual assault.

By fundraising for Braveheart’s to support their work my wife and I hope we can make a difference and maybe bring a smile and some love perhaps to help rebuild a little ones life.

On the first weekend in July 2021 I  will participate in the 777 Braveheart’s Marathon running 7 Full Marathons (of 42.195km distance each) in 7 States in 7 Days.  By far my biggest physical and mental challenge to date. The rewards will be huge not just for me. Pushing yourself to physical extremes is made that much easier when you have such a special reason.

It will be tough with highs and lows but what will get me though is the knowledge that my small sacrifice may somehow help Braveheart’s keep our little ones safe and happy.
