Running to Protect Children: My Bravehearts 777 Marathon Fundraiser (2 July 2025)

I’m honoured to share that on Wednesday, 2 July 2025, I will be participating in the Bravehearts 777 Marathon in Melbourne. I’m doing so to support Bravehearts, a remarkable Australian child protection organisation dedicated to the prevention and treatment of child sexual abuse. Their mission resonates deeply with me, and I believe every child deserves a life free from fear and harm.

It is devastating to learn that 1 in 4 Australians experience child sexual abuse. That statistic alone underscores the urgency of Bravehearts’ work. By running this marathon, I hope to raise funds for Braveheart, and increase awareness of this difficult reality. Every contribution, no matter the amount, aids in continuing the critical work of protecting children.

As I prepare earnestly for this challenge, I will continue to be driven by the knowledge that together, we can help ensure a safer future for young people. Even if you’re unable to donate, your support - a kind word or sharing/forwarding this message on to someone else - is valuable and very much appreciated.
