Meet Team Primrose

Meet your Pinkest team of 2024.

Kait has completed the 777 marathon twice (2021 and 2023), is the Vice Captain of her AFL team, and is a keen traveller. She is always looking for her next big adventure, and often combines travel with endurance events & athletic endeavours. She is 26 years old, a mum to two mini sausages, and is obsessed with the colour pink.

Kelly is self deemed "not a runner", loves lifting weights, and is also a keen traveller. She also happens to be the mum of Kait. Often seen as the support crew behind Kait, she has been a much loved and appreciated member of the Bravehearts family since 2021. After promising her daughter she would complete the GC Marathon in 2023 if she signed back up (after a miserable 2021 campaign), she proudly finished her first ever marathon at 47 years of age. Kelly favourite's her orange cat over her human daughter, and is also obsessed with the colour pink.

The pair plan one trip together each year, and have decided in 2024 to combine this with Bravehearts 777 as Kelly signs on as a National Runner for the very first time. Together they will raise money and keep the conversation going to help educate, protect and empower young Australian children.
