I'm fundraising for... Bravehearts

Hey there, My name is Dale Gibbs. I am 44yrs old from Pakenham, Victoria 

I will be taking part in the Bravehearts 777 Marathon in 2025.

This means I will be running 7 Marathons, in 7 days across 7 States!!
Yes, I am crazy, it is now confirmed.

Why would I put my body through such a thing?
This is a question that I have been asked a lot, when I tell people about this challenge. 
I completely get it. I will be putting my body and mind through the most pain it's ever received in 7 days.

The thing is, my body will heal in around 2 weeks ( roughly ). The pain will be gone and my mind will be back to normal. 

The Fund-raising group, that I will be raising money for, Bravehearts, 
Raise money for the prevention of Child Sexual Abuse and Awareness. 

Having 2 children of my own, it breaks my heart knowing, that 1 in 4 Children in Australia, have experienced a form of Sexual Abuse. 
Those Children's bodies and minds, don't get to heal in only 2 weeks. 

If I can raise money for Bravehearts, I will feel like I and those that have donated, have at least done something to help. 

I have a goal of raising $11,000
But it would feel Awesome, if I could achieve even more.

A bit of my background 
I first started running in 2020, after seeing an advertisement on Facebook, Run 4 Autism. 
My eldest child has Autism, so I thought this might be a good way of contributing. 
Long story short, I fell in love with running in the training for Run 4 Autism and my mental health had never been better. I decided to keep running after the challenge and since then I have run in multiple Marathons, Half Marathons and Ultra Marathons. 

This however will be my hardest mission. So please if you can help with any donations, it would be much appreciated and you will feel pride, knowing you too have helped.

I am so Excited to be a part of this challenge. This will be my biggest challenge to date.

I had a mate mention I should do this challenge. He had run the Bravehearts 777 2yrs earlier. 
He said you have to raise money for a Great Cause and you're away.

I said ok what Cause?
It's for sexually abused children and prevention of. 

It hit me between the eyes.
Crap!! Now I really want to help.

The seed was planted in my brain
And now it has fully flowered. 

I know I'm going to be in a lot of pain, but that pain is nothing compared to the pain, that sexually abused children have been through. 

I'M IN    LET'S GO!!!!

A bit of my background: In 2020 Covid shut down the men's basketball league, that my team was apart of.
I sat around bored and putting on weight. That time without realising had really impacted my mental health. I hated not being allowed to go anywhere or do anything. 

Then a challenge came up,
Run 4 Autism. My eldest is Autistic, so I thought Awesome, I can help raise money for a cause that hits home. 
The Challenge was to run a Marathon, but you had 7 days to complete the distance. 
I can do that
So I started running 3k a day to build up, then 4k the next week and so on, until it was time to do the challenge.
I completed the challenge, running 9k on my final day, finishing a day early. 
I was hooked on running. 
My mental health improved and I was now buzzing with life.
Since then I have run Half Marathons, Marathons, Ultra Marathons and Back Yard Ultra's (Last Man Standing)
BUT

7 MARATHONS     IN 
7 STATES AND TERRITORIES OVER
7 DAYS
